Charlie Sheen
Having come from a family of actors, Charlie Sheen quickly worked to forge a career of his own on the silver screen. Since his breakout role in 1986 war drama Platoon, Sheen has built up an outstandingly diverse filmography which ranges from classic dramas such as Wall Street to the Hot Shots! and Scary Movie comedy franchises. He has also appeared on several TV shows, most notably a Golden Globe-winning role in Sin City and a $1.78 million per episode part in Two and a Half Men. Aside from his acting roles, Sheen has become known as an A-list bad boy due to his turbulent marriages with Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller, his reported drug problems and subsequent rehab stints, as well as his recent arrest for domestic abuse and a now infamous hotel-trashing incident.
In early 2011, production for Two and a Half Men was halted to accommodate Sheen as he once again entered rehab. Not long afterwards, CBS announced that the four final episodes of that season had been cancelled due to Sheen's comments towards the show creator Chuck Lorre. Sheen then partook in several interviews criticizing Lorre and other executives, created a Twitter account (receiving a record-breaking one million followers in around 24 hours), and started a webcast called Sheen's Korner. After being fired by CBS from Two and a Half Men, Sheen decided to take legal action against the broadcasting company.
