Cheryl Cole
Cheryl Cole is a pop singer from Newcastle, England, who rose to fame in 2002 after entering Popstars: The Rivals and earning a place in the newly formed girl band Girls Aloud. Girls Aloud enjoyed a lot of success in the UK, releasing five studio albums and 20 top ten singles. In 2008, Cole was selected to replace Sharon Osbourne on the UK reality series The X Factor and mentored two winners during her three years on the show. On May 5, 2011, she was announced to be part of the judging lineup on the American version of The X Factor, before being replaced by Nicole Scherzinger a month later.
