Example first found success in 2010 with his second album 'Won't Go Quietly' which produced the two top ten singles 'Kickstarts' and 'Won't Go Quietly'.

His third album was released in 2011 and was called 'Playing in the Shadows.' He had his first number one with 'Changed the Way You Kiss Me' the first single to be released from that album.

In 2012 he is planning to do an arena tour the UK.

Example's full name is Elliot John Gleave. He was nicknamed Example because his initials spelled out E.G., the abbreviation of the latin phrase 'exempli gratia' which means 'for example'.
