Richard Armitage

Despite his theatrical background, Richard Armitage has now become associated with TV tough guy roles or for popping up as the dashing leading man. His first major parts cropped up in 2006, when he appeared as the shady Guy Of Gisborne in BBC series Robin Hood, before showing his softer side as Dawn French's lover in the final episodes of The Vicar Of Dibley. In 2008 he became the lead in spy thriller Spooks and two years later starred as SAS soldier Chris Ryan in Sky's Strike Back. Armitage will soon be seen in upcoming Hollywood blockbusters Captain America and The Hobbit.
