Shayne Ward

Shayne Ward soared to fame in 2005 as a contestant on the second series of The X Factor. Under the guidance of his mentor - and eventual manager - Louis Walsh, Ward progressed to the final and was declared the winner of the competition after receiving a reputed 5.5 million votes. Ward went on to secure the 2005 Christmas No.1 with his debut track and notch up five further top 20 singles and three top 20 albums in the following years.
