Marc Bannerman: 'I'm a rat'

Marc Bannerman has admitted that he behaved like a "rat" by flirting with Cerys Matthews in the jungle.

The former soap star revealed that he could blame nobody but himself for what went on between him and Matthews during I'm A Celebrity.

Speaking on I'm A Celebrity...Coming Out Show, Bannerman said: "I just developed feelings for someone in there and I’ve got a Mrs at home, I’m a rat.

"I can’t look for a scapegoat. The buck stops here."

While watching footage of himself and Matthews in the jungle, he said: "I feel sick, I feel for [girlfriend Sarah] watching that. I feel really stupid.

"There wasn’t any sort of relationship between us in any kind of way. Anyway I can see why Sarah went home."

When asked by fellow contestant Katie Hopkins whether he really loved Matthews, he replied: "I don’t know."
