The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestants have discussed Robert Kilroy-Silk's elimination from the competition.

The MEP became the first campmate to leave the show after earning the least support in a public vote.

David Van Day, who claimed Kilroy's bed after he left, said: "He really didn't want to be the first and so when he went out I think he was a bit shocked and he was actually broken up a bit. You could see in his face, he was very emotional."

Dani Behr mourned Kilroy's loss, claiming that he was a good influence on the group. "He's been a real tour de force for a lot of us. He's been really strong mentally and physically and he's been quite a father figure to quite a few of us in the camp so I will really miss him," she said.

George Takei agreed that the former talkshow host's elimination will have a major impact on the group. "I was surprised to see him go. Robert not being with us is going to be a big hole," he remarked.
