Manning 'breaks down in tears at camp'

George Hamilton has told Stuart Manning that he should be more confident and outgoing if he has ambitions to win the show.

The pair were sat discussing the competition when Hamilton decided to offer the former Hollyoaks star some words of wisdom.

Hamilton said: "I think you have the best shot of winning the whole match as an all-round hand. I think it's more important for you to win this show for your career and for your life than the others. I'd like to see you stay the course and have fun with it. One of the things you need to think about, and if it's out of line, you just tell me, but you need to open up a bit more about who you are because you are coming across great but good guys don't always win in this life, that's for sure.

"You are very modest and you don't toot your own horn but your challenge is to make the people like you for things they don't know about you yet, that'll add to the whole thing - have a think about it.

"We were talking the other night and this is not my business but I think you have the best shot of winning the whole match as an all-round hand. Gino has that chance, Kim strangely enough has it, I don't know whether Sabrina has it or not she may have the ability but you guys are front line winners."

Choked with emotion, Manning excused himself and went to a quiet part of the camp before he began to cry. However, Sabrina Washington followed him and asked what was wrong.

Manning explained that his emotional reaction was due to the death of his father, saying: "I'm missing my dad and something George said to me hit home, George is a poignant man and it caught me for five minutes, completely got me. He said be yourself and open up a bit more and I find it so hard sometimes."
