Black Cat to return in 'Spider-Man'

According to the comic book giant, the character will make her comeback in Amazing Spider-Man #605-606, written by American Son scribe Joe Kelly and drawn by Mike McKone.
The Black Cat has previously developed a relationship with the web-slinger, driven by the thrill of his secret identity. She is just one of two love interests due to re-enter Peter Parker's life in upcoming storylines, with Mary Jane Watson returning in an August issue.
"Even at his lowest point, Peter's got one or two girlfriends giving him trouble," Joe Kelly told Newsarama.
"It just seems like, with Mary Jane back, there's a lot of women orbiting Peter right now. And we just thought it would really shake things up to have someone go gunning for Spider-Man.
"So if we're going to rock Peter's world by having Mary Jane back, then it's just the law of equal and opposite chaos to have somebody to rock Spidey's world as well. So Black Cat is so far the best one to do that."
The writer went on to say that the two-part story will be a welcome relief from his previous projects. "It's going to be a lot of fun," he added.
"After writing something as heavy as American Son, it's fun to write something that's just about Spidey and his raging libido and a lady in black spandex."
Amazing Spider-Man #605 and 606 will be available in September.
