'X-Men Forever' #1 given second printing
Marvel Comics has announced that X-Men Forever #1 will receive a second printing after comic distributors Diamond sold all its copies.

X-Men Forever, written by legendary X-Men writer Chris Claremont, follows the events of X-Men #3 as Claremont intended before resigning from the title in the early '90s.

On its website, Marvel wrote: "[We are] pleased to announce that X-Men Forever #1 has sold out at Diamond (though copies may be available at the retail level) and will return with X-Men Forever #1 second printing variant."

Claremont was responsible for the first reinvention of X-Men, introducing international characters such as Storm, Wolverine and Colossus. He wrote Uncanny X-Men for an unprecedented 16 years between 1975 and 1991.

Claremont is often criticised for his convoluted, long-runnning and occasionally unresolved plotlines.
