Marvel lauded at Saturn Awards
Marvel Comics film adaptations The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man racked up ten nominations between them at the Saturn Awards this week, with the latter collecting three gongs.

The awards are presented annually by The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Films, celebrating outstanding achievement in each of the respective genres.

Last year's summer blockbuster Iron Man picked up three awards at the 35th edition of the event, earning Best Science Fiction Film, as well as Best Actor for Robert Downey Jr. and Best Director for John Favreau.

The Dark Knight took the most awards for film, with Lost and Battlestar Galactica leading the way for television.

A complete list of nominees is available on the Saturn Awards website.
