Fans are able to vote on which of the five concepts they would like to see turned into a series.
In its press release, Top Cow wrote: "Since 2007, Top Cow has given fans the power to choose the next two Top Cow series based on a selection of one-shot Pilot Season 'pilot' issues through online voting.
"The inaugural Pilot Season initiative garnered more than four million votes from fans across the globe.
"Now, Robert Kirkman and Marc Silvestri will be bringing fans five brand new titles for Pilot Season 2009, and it will be up to the fans to choose which single property will become an official Top Cow series. The anticipated launch for Pilot Season 2009 is October 2009."
Kirkman is best known for his work on The Walking Dead, Invincible and Marvel Zombies. Silvestri, one of the founders of Top Cow, has provided artwork for Uncanny X-Men, New X-Men and The Darkness.
