Anthrax guitarist to pen 'Lobo' book

The news was first revealed by artist Sam Keith during an interview with Comic Book Resources.
"Scott Ian from Anthrax, he wanted to write a Lobo story and they asked me if I would draw it. And I said, well if I don't write this one, it has a lot better chance of making sense," Keith said.
The musician later confirmed the report on his blog and in an interview with The Quietus.
"I find it much easier to write comic books than lyrics actually because it's a natural dialogue," Ian commented. "Writing song lyrics is not natural but over the years I know what I need to know to get it done.
"I find it quite easy to capture a character and use my own personality and humour."
Created by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen, Lobo made his first appearance in 1983 on the pages of Omega Men # 3 from DC Comics.
