Deadpool to take on Spider-Man

The scribe is credited with establishing Deadpool as one of Marvel's mainstay characters, penning the anti-hero's "surreal" run in the late 1990s. He will team up with cover artist Skottie Young and interior artist Eric Canete for the issue.
"We're just trying to keep the Deadpool machine going," Kelly told MTV. "But in the end, it's all about who's the bigger wise ass in the Marvel Universe."
The writer also revealed that a "mysterious" third-party is behind the meeting of the wise-cracking characters, which will be "more a clash" than a team-up.
"Their jokes styles are so different," he added. "Deadpool is so absurd and mean at the drop of a hat, but Spidey is so light... [Spider-Man] tries to take the high road, but when you spend enough time around Deadpool, you can't help coming down to his level."
Both characters are currently undergoing the cinematic treatment, with Sam Raimi hard at work on Spider-Man 4 and a Deadpool movie recently entering pre-production.
Amazing Spider-Man #611 will be released in November.
