The independent publisher unveiled the crossover title at Comic-Con International in San Diego, confirming that the six-issue book will debut in January.
Writer John Arcudi - who has previously worked on both Aliens and Predator comic books - will pen the storyline, with art by Rick Leonardi and covers from Raymond Swanland.
"I don't want to give away too many specifics, but there are key threads from the new Aliens and Predator books that are tied together in Three World War," editor Chris Warner told CBR.
"Suffice it to say there will be lots of Predators, lots of Aliens, and lots of Colonial Marines in close proximity, acting very unpleasantly toward one another. It is a distinct possibility that some characters may not survive the series."
The Aliens vs Predator franchise has spawned two big screen outings, several novels, video games and a line of action figures since Dark Horse first introduced the concept in 1990.
