Marvel acquired the rights to Marvelman from 94-year-old artist Anglo, who created the character for Fawcett Comics after it was sued by DC Comics for their creation of Captain Marvel.
At the Cup O' Joe panel, a poster by Marvel editor-in-chief Joe Quesada was unveiled, but further details of a forthcoming Marvelman comic are yet to be released.
Marvelman, published in the US as Miracleman, was also the subject of a long-standing legal battle between Neil Gaiman and Todd McFarlane.
