Rick Remender (Fear Agent) and Kieron Dwyer’s (Avengers) graphic novel tells the story of Mary Specter, a lucid dreamer who enters the nightmares of disturbed patients at her father's sleep disorder clinic in order to cure them. She finds herself in danger when she unwittingly enters the dreams of a serial killer.
"Night Mary is a fantastic property that will enable us to collaborate with innovative writers and directors, to tell a great story and deliver ground-breaking design," Animal Logic chief executive Zareh Nalbandian told the Australian Associated Press.
The Sydney-based company is currently producing the animated feature Guardians Of Ga'Hoole, directed by Zack Snyder (Watchmen).
