Radical to launch new horror series
Published Friday, Aug 21 2009, 19:50 BST | By Mark Langshaw

The horror comics will be written by acclaimed scribe David Hine, who has previously worked with Marvel on Civil War: X-Men and Spider-Man Noir.
Based on the popular online series created by Richard S. Dargan, FVZA tells the story of a secret government task force, who are called into action whenever a threat from the undead emerges. Previous storylines have taken place during the Second World War and the American Civil War, but the new plot will be set in the present.
"FVZA is a cutting edge reinterpretation of American history and Radical is excited to bring it to life," said the publisher's president Barry Levine. "David Hine is just a phenomenal writer who is taking a fresh mythology to new heights. Long-time fans of the website as well as new readers won't be disappointed with David's amazing take on the FVZA."
The three-part miniseries will debut in October, with each issue priced at $4.99 (£3.00).
