The eight-part series, which is set 50 years after all Marvel’s heroes were defeated by the world's villains, began more than a year ago in Wolverine #66.
Billed by the publisher as "the most important Wolverine story of the 21st century", readers have been waiting to see the final showdown between Logan and the villainous Hulk Gang since the penultimate chapter was released in May.
Marvel has described the finale as "the most brutal battle in the history of comics".
Old Man Logan - Giant-Sized Special is out on September 23.
