Jon Ronson writes strip for 'The Beano'

The Guardian, for which Ronson is a regular writer, previewed his comic and will be giving a classic comic away each day to celebrate the occasion, beginning next Saturday.
"As a child I was obsessed with The Beano," wrote Ronson for the newspaper. "I'd send in drawings of my favourite characters and anxiously wait for the next issue. Would they be printed? They never were.
"I was, I came to understand, an unremarkable child artist, lacking flair. But now, 35 years later, the chance to contribute was being offered to me. It was incredibly exciting."
'The Numskulls' features a group of tiny creatures that live inside the head of a boy called Edd Case and control his actions.
