Issue #45 of the Amazonian’s current series marks her 600th outing in comics, and DiDio has told readers it would be renumbered to reflect that if the idea receives at least 600 supporters.
In a message on the DC Comics website, he said: "For all you Wonder Woman fans out there, here's the deal: 600 postcards for a 600th issue.
"It's that simple. If the demand and desire is there, then speak out, and I promise you will be heard.
"I think we all agree on one thing: Wonder Woman is the greatest female character there is, and she deserves nothing less."
Wonder Woman #36 is out September 30.
