Marvel

Marvel's Invincible Iron Man #17 has been given a second printing after selling out at distribution level, according to the publisher.

Although the comic may still be available at retail level, a second print variant featuring the interior artwork of Salvador Larroca on the cover will be issued next month.

Written by the Eisner Award-winning Matt Fraction, the book presents the "beginning of the end of Tony Stark" in the 'Worlds Most Wanted' story arc.

"Norman Osborn will stop at nothing to retrieve the database stored in Tony Stark's mind, will Tony let Norman's Dark Reign destroy the world as he knows it?" read Marvel's synopsis for the issue.

With the plotline garnering mainstream media attention, the publisher has urged retailers to stock up on the comic book to satisfy demand.

Invincible Iron Man #17 second print variant will be available on October 14.
