The first five pages of the forthcoming comic were posted by Newsarama yesterday.
The Confession will deal with the secrets that X-Men leaders Emma Frost and Cyclops have been keeping from each other.
Frost has had secret dealings with Norman Osborn's cabal - the sinister group around which the Dark Reign storyline centres - while Cyclops has formed the covert black-ops squad X-Force without the knowledge of his fellow X-Men.
The story is penned by X-Force co-writers Craig Kyle and Chris Yost with art by Bing Cansino.
Dark X-Men: The Confession is released on September 23.
