Jim Lee draws 'Liberty Comics' variant
Superstar penciler Jim Lee has been revealed as the cover artist for Liberty Comics #2 variant edition.

The cover, a 1-in-25 limited-edition release, is based on his collaboration with Sandman writer Neil Gaiman.

The creative duo’s story, entitled '100 Words', is the first in a collection of tales and previews from industry greats, including Jimmy Palmiotti, Mike Allred, Brian Wood and Ben Templesmith.

The 48-page book, published by Image Comics, is a benefit anthology for the Comic Book Legal Defence Fund.

The Fund’s executive director Charles Brownstein said: "Jim has long been a true Defender of Liberty with his ongoing support of the Comic Book Legal Defence Fund and his cover goes above and beyond the call of duty."

Liberty Comics #2 is out October 14.
