DC Holiday Special #1 was unveiled on DC's official blog The Source.
Scott Kolins, Sterling Gates, Amy Wolfram, Fred Van Lente, Jay Faerber, Beau Smith, David Tischman and Jay Torres have already been confirmed to contribute to the comic, with more to be announced.
The issue will contain a series of stories starring DC favourites including Batman, Superman and the Flash.
"What better way to lift your spirits... than by having some holiday cheer?" wrote Alex Segura on the blog. "What? It’s September, you say? Well, yes, but it’s never too early to roll out our holiday plans, no?"
DC Holiday Special #1 will be released on December 9.
