Boom! brings 'WALL-E' to comics
Boom! Studios has announced that it will be adapting Disney/Pixar's WALL-E into a comic.

The title will be written by J Torres (Teen Titans Go!, Wonder Girl), with pencils by Morgan Luthi (Snow).

"In the movie, he's this hardworking robot looking to get more out of life," Torres explained to Newsarama. "Hence, the digging through the garbage for treasures, playthings, and even companionship.

"But has he always been that way? What was he like when other Wall-Es were still around? When did he start collecting junk? Why? We answer these questions - and more - in the four stories."

Boom! has an arrangement with Disney/Pixar to produce comics based on its films. It has already published issues based on Cars, Toy Story, The Incredibles and Monsters Inc.
