Boom! names series 'Incorruptible'

By
Boom! Studios has announced that editor-in-chief Mark Waid's latest series will be called Incorruptible.

As a companion piece to his Irredeemable title, Incorruptible explores what occurs when a supervillain decides that he wants to become a hero.

Boom! released a teaser image of the cover for issue #1 last week alongside a campaign proclaiming "Mark Waid WAS evil".

Interior art will be provided by Neil Edwards (Squadron Supreme) with covers by Cassaday and Tim Sale (Hulk: Grey, Batman: The Long Halloween).

"Incorruptible showcases supervillain Max Damage, who had an epiphany the day The Plutonian destroyed Sky City [in Irredeemable]," reads Boom!'s press release.

"That day, when The Plutonian turned his back on humanity, Max Damage decided to step up. Now Max Damage has changed his name to Max Daring and turned from his formerly selfish ways to become... incorruptible."

Incorruptible will debut in December.
