In an interview with G4TV, the scribe revealed that the plotline will see Norman Osborn's reign of terror come to an end. It will also feature the long-awaited reunion of classic Avengers trio Thor, Iron Man and Captain America.
A prologue issue titled Siege: The Cabal, drawn by Michael Lark, will precede the four-issue series. The book will bring an end to the union of supervillains known as the Cable, pitting Doctor Doom against Osborn.
Marvel's only official statement on the event is: "Stay tuned for news from the Diamond Retailer Summit next week."
Siege: The Cabal is released on December 2, followed by the four-part miniseries in January.
