During the Christmas period, the chain of stores will debut a new line of clothing and accessories inspired by DC superheroes. The publisher will showcase rarely-seen comic book imagery at the outlets during the initiative.
"Collaborating with Warner Bros Consumer Products to provide our customers with new and exclusive products inspired by the world of DC Comics is what the Bloomingdale's shopping experience is all about," said Bloomingdale's vice president Kevin Harter.
"Customers love their favourite comic book heroes and what better way to honour 75 years of DC Comics' indelible mark on popular culture than during the holidays."
DC Entertainment president Diane Nelson added: "The DC Comics superheroes have inspired creativity across all forms of entertainment. As we look back on 75 storied years and ahead to next year's celebration and beyond, we are proud to showcase DC Comics' enduring influence on fashion in partnership with Bloomingdale's."
The collection will include contributions from high profile designers, including Trunk, Junk Food, Converse, Psycho Bunny and Jack Spade. It will debut on October 14.
