Image Comics announces 'Orc Stain'
Image Comics has unveiled a new monthly fantasy series titled Orc Stain.

Announced at this weekend's Baltimore Comic-Con, the book is written and drawn by Wonton Soup scribe James Stokoe. It tells the tale of an orc misfit named One Eye, who is more interested in thieving and looting than engaging in battle.

"Orc Stain is a fantasy story set on a constantly war-ridden planet almost entirely overrun by orcs," Stokoe told CBR. "It starts off following a spiritually broken orc who has the ability to find the weak point in any object, which he can then crack open with his trusty hammer.

"He has been making a living looting graves and rolling bodies, but soon gets chased by the massive armies of the Orc Tsar who needs his special gift to unlock the organ of a long-dead god."

Orc Stain #1 is slated to debut in January.
