The 2009 Harvey Awards have been announced, bringing further wins for Grant Morrison and his All Star Superman series.
Morrison and Frank Quitely's 12-issue Superman series received the award for 'Best Continuing or Limited Series', with Morrison winning 'Best Writer' for his work on the title.
All Star Superman won the same award the previous year alongside the award for 'Best Single Issue' for issue #6, and Quitely was acknowledged as 'Best Artist' for his work on the series in 2007.
The event was held at Baltimore Comic-Con last weekend.
Other results included a 'Best Artist' award for Gabriel Ba's work on Umbrella Academy, 'Best Inker' for Mark Morales on Thor, 'Best New Series' for Terry Moore's Echo and 'Best Anthology' for the Tori Amos-inspired Comic Book Tattoo.
All Star Superman is a reimagining of Superman outside the restraints of mainstream DC continuity.
It has also been honoured with a series of Eisner award wins.
