At the Baltimore Retailer Summit, the company said that its Blackest Night series and all tie-ins would be put on hiatus in January, but that it would be releasing the final issue one-shots instead.
The eight issues will be Starman #81, The Atom and Hawkman #46, Catwoman #83, Phantom Stranger #42, The Power of Shazam! #48, The Question #37, Suicide Squad #67 and Weird Western Tales #71.
The issues will all deal with events currently unfolding in the DC Universe.
DC also announced that the new issue of the Eisner Award-winning Starman - written by series creator James Robinson - will not feature its former starring character Jack Knight.
The issue will feature a black lantern Starman, but he will not be Knight - the latest character to bear that name.
