The scribe revealed that issue #30 features a massive team-up between characters from Mighty Avengers, New Avengers, Young Avengers and the Avengers Initiative as they take on villain The Unspoken.
In the aftermath of this battle the team comes to blows with Norman Osborn’s Dark Avengers before playing a part in event miniseries Siege, which marks the end of the ongoing Dark Reign storyline.
Slott told CBR: "Something is going to happen right after the Unspoken arc, which will lead to a powerful Avengers player affecting the lives of the Mighty Avengers.
"One of the biggest Avengers characters of all time is going to enter into the fray and that will build up all the way through to a climax in the Siege issues.
"Things are brewing. You'll see the spark starts all of that at the top of issue #32."
He also revealed that a marriage will take place as a result of events in Siege.
Mighty Avengers #30 is out October 21.
