Jim Lee to draw 'Justice League'?

Warners/Everett/Rex Features

Superstar artist Jim Lee has admitted that drawing DC Comics’s Justice League would be an "awesome" assignment.

Lee’s comments, made during his panel at the Wizard World Big Apple Comic Con this weekend, fuelled speculation that he is taking on said project.

When asked by a fan if he would be working on Justice League in the next few months, Bleeding Cool reports Lee as saying: "Wouldn’t that be awesome?"

However, the artist went on to say that it would be "foolish, foolish" for him to take on a book with so many characters in it.

The sporadic scheduling of past comics drawn by Lee has frustrated some fans. All Star Batman And Robin, Lee’s collaboration with writer Frank Miller, remains on hiatus.
