Shade was a character originally created by Steve Ditko in 1977 and revamped by Peter Milligan (2000 AD, X-Statix) and Chris Bachalo (New Avengers, Uncanny X-Men) as one of Vertigo's first titles.
Shade the Changing Man Volume 1: American Scream - collecting issues #1-6 - will be reissued in November alongside Volume 2: The Edge of Vision, which collects issues #7-13 for the first time.
Milligan is currently writing the ongoing series Greek Street and Hellblazer for Vertigo.
