It had been speculated as to whether the title would continue after the writing duo was announced to be leaving after the events of the upcoming 'Second Coming' crossover.
Quesada did indicate that the team would suffer casualties and require a new lineup in the crossover's wake.
"X-Force is alive and well," said Quesada on his Cup O' Joe blog, "and Craig Kyle and Chris Yost are as ensconced in the X-Men Universe as they've ever been, maybe more.
"Their story comes to an end after 'Second Coming' but X-Force doesn't die.
"Will other creators have to step into Craig and Chris' shoes? Yes. Might we shake up the character roster after 'Second Coming'? We might have to. I mean you can't field a team with dead characters can you?"
