Marvel enters comiXology deal
Marvel Comics has entered a partnership deal with digital distributor comiXology to bring its titles to iPhone and iPod Touch devices.

Under the agreement, Marvel books will be available to users of the Comics by comiXology application for $1.99 (£1.20) each. A total of 71 titles are currently on offer, although more will be added in the future.

The publisher is currently offering issues of fan-favourite series such as Joss Whedon and John Cassaday's run on Astonishing X-Men, Robert Kirkman's Marvel Zombies, and Ed Brubaker's Captain America.

comiXology has emerged as one of the market leaders in digital comics distribution but has not offered properties from either of the 'big two' (Marvel and DC) until now.

Marvel digital titles are only available to customers in the US. It is yet to be announced whether they will be available in Europe and other territories.
