Filmmaker Paul McGuigan has revealed that he is working with comic book writer Grant Morrison on an "interesting" project.

However, the Lucky Number Slevin director chose not to tell fans exactly what the pair are collaborating on when he announced the news on Twitter.

He wrote: "Writer Grant Morrison and I are working on a very interesting project based in Scotland. This man is genius."

McGuigan recently directed Push, which starred Chris Evans as a man with telekinetic and clairvoyant abilities trying to escape from a clandestine US government agency.

Morrison is best known for his work writing Animal Man for DC Comics and New X-Men at Marvel. He currently writes DC’s Batman and Robin.
