Various villains including The Leader, Red Ghost and Egghead are shown reminiscing about their previous battles against superheroes in Alpha.
The 'Fall of the Hulks' poster shows characters including Hulk, She-Hulk, Red Hulk and Skaar - many of whom have played pivotal roles in the recent Hulk and Incredible Hulk storylines - collapsed on a barren wasteland before a setting sun.
The image pays homage to the 1980s X-Men crossover 'Fall of the Mutants'.
Fall of the Hulks Alpha will be written by Jeff Parker with art by Paul Pelletier, and is due for release on December 2.
Marvel has called the story "the Hulks' greatest battle", but has released no other details.
