Marvel Comics has appointed Vampirella editor Bon Alimagno as its new talent co-ordinator, according to Bleeding Cool.
Alimagno was previously editorial director at New York-based Harris Publications. The post of new talent co-ordinator was temporarily held by CB Cebulski, who will remain at Marvel as the firm's Talent Management department undergoes restructuring.
Marvel managing editor David Bogart previously worked as editor-in-chief at Harris Publictions, where he commissioned Mark Millar, Alan Moore, Grant Morrison and Warren Ellis to work on its Vampirella title.
Joe Quesada, Marvel's current editor-in-chief, also worked on the series as an artist in the mid-'90s.
Vampirella was created by Forrest J. Ackerman in 1969. Harris Publications acquired the rights to the character following an auction in 1983.
