Rex Features
Issued as a one-shot, Ghostbusters Holiday Special: Past, Present, and Future is written by Rob Williams and drawn by Diego Jourdan. Its storyline is a parody of Charles Dickens's classic novel A Christmas Carol.
"Working on this book has been a lot of fun," said IDW editor Tom Waltz. "Rob has taken a well-travelled and oft-revamped tale and given it an all-new twist, while maintaining all the classic elements Dickens - and, of course, Ghostbusters - traditionalists would demand and expect from this cast of characters. Only true Scrooges will walk away from this story without smiles on their faces."
The special issue is the first in a series of one-shots that IDW plans to release over the festive period. Its plot sees Winston, Egon, Ray and Peter called in to help a grumpy New Yorker who is plagued by the same three spirits every Christmas Eve.
Ghostbusters Holiday Special: Past, Present, and Future will be available at retail level from December 9.
