'Kick-Ass' website appears online
Lionsgate has launched the official website for Matthew Vaughn's film adaptation of comic book Kick-Ass.

The site - IAmKick-Ass.com - reveals a combined image of the movie's promotional character posters and counts down to the release of the trailer in six days.

Kick-Ass is an ongoing, creator-owned, comic book series written by Mark Millar and illustrated by John Romita Jr.

It tells the story of teenager Dave Lizewski, who decides to fight crime by becoming a real-life superhero called Kick-Ass.

In Vaughn's film, Aaron Johnson has been cast as Dave. Crazed vigilantes Hit Girl and Big Daddy will be played by Chloe Moretz and Nicolas Cage.

Kick-Ass arrives in cinemas on April 16.
