Zatanna starred in a four-issue miniseries as part of Grant Morrison's Seven Soldiers of Victory metaseries.
Morrison intended the seven miniseries to be the seeds of ongoing titles, but so far none have emerged.
"Finally, a monthly series," DiDio told Newsarama. "Paul Dini's doing it. Stephane Roux is the artist to start the series, and Chad Hardin will be working with him as well. And that should be coming out beginning this coming April."
Paul Dini is best known for producing and writing television series including Batman Beyond and The New Superman/Batman Adventures.
He is currently penning DC’s ongoing Batman: Streets of Gotham and Gotham City Sirens titles.
