Eric Powell's 'The Goon' returns

The creator has spent several months working on a Goon feature film project with David Fincher and Blur Studios, but makes a comeback this month with a 'silent' Goon comic.
Powell told CBR: "I thought it would be funny to do a comic with nothing but thought balloons.
"I think it was more work to do that than it would have been to fill the book with words because I had to do drawings inside the thought balloons.
"Anything that lets the reader draw their own conclusions, I like that better, and this is a big example of that."
On his work with director Fincher on an animated Goon movie, Powell said: "David's going to be heavily involved. I've worked with him and Blur quite a bit to get the screenplay together, and it's been a great experience so far."
The Goon #33, from Dark Horse Comics, hits stands on November 25, with the series going bi-monthly in 2010.
