'One Piece' sets printing record

The first printing of One Piece volume 56 will set a new record as the largest in Japan's history.
A record 2.85 million copies of the latest volume of the bestselling manga will be printed by Japanese publisher Shueisha, reports Anime News Network.
The previous release, volume 55, sold 1,487,845 copies in its first week. Shueisha claims to have printed 176 million copies of the series in total.
One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda has recently said that he plans to end his long-running story of pirates and buried treasure within the next five years.
One Piece volume 56 will be released on December 4 in Japan. The English-language edition of volume 23 is out this week.
