Titan launches WWE Comics line
Published Wednesday, Dec 2 2009, 11:29 GMT | By Hugh Armitage

Twenty comics are planned, with a flagship title WWE Heroes featuring WWE Superstars and Divas.
The series will take the stars of WWE beyond the ring and out into a fictional universe beyond.
"Each week more than 1.6 million teens watch WWE programming on television in the US," said editor Ned Hartley. "This is an important demographic for the comic book industry and vital for a successful launch in the industry.
"We've got some truly amazing stories to tell - our first issue is going to blow you away. The 'in-your-face, no-holds-barred' attitude of the WWE works so well as a comic, we just can't wait for people to see the great surprises that we've got in store."
WWE Heroes #1 - written by Keith Champagne and illustrated by Andy Smith - will be released on March 23, 2010.
