Solomon Kane returns for miniseries

The four-issue Solomon Kane: Death's Black Riders - written by Dark Horse senior editor Scott Allie with art by Mario Guevara - will debut in January.
The miniseries tells the story of the early adventures of the 16th century puritan hero as he travels through the Black Forest.
"The first issue of the mini starts off by introducing five new characters, but most of them die within the first half of the issue," Allie told CBR. "The first issue is pretty much all action."
The series was inspired by fragments of stories that were left unfinished at the time of the legendary pulp writer Howard's death.
"Having read all the Kane stuff backwards and forwards, I have an idea for an overarching story that connects it all - something Howard himself never planned on, but something befitting the more serialised nature of a comics series," said Allie.
Solomon Kane first appeared in a story called 'Red Shadows' in a 1928 issue of pulp magazine Weird Tales.
