Lauren Montgomery and Sam Liu, who have worked on the past three DC Universe films, have just completed an original Justice League story from award-winning animation and comics writer Dwayne McDuffie.
The pair were asked by Comicsonline what DC-based movie they hoped to work on in the future.
Liu said: "I’d love to do Sandman from the Vertigo line. I don’t know what kind of story that would be, but I’d love to work with Neil Gaiman because I really loved those comics."
Montgomery replied: "I want that Aquaman project, but I doubt we’ll ever make it."
Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths, from Superman Doomsday executive producer Bruce Timm, is to be released by Warner Home Video on February 23, 2010.
