Red Sonja to return in Dynamite series
Published Tuesday, Dec 15 2009, 18:44 GMT | By Mark Langshaw

Written by Luke Lieberman and drawn by Walter Geovanni, the tale combines Robert E. Howard's Conan universe with Norse mythology, as the 'She-Devil with a Sword' teams up with Thor and Odin to do battle with Loki.
"Wrath Of The Gods explores the mysteries of Sonja's past, while presenting her with the malicious threat of Loki in the present," read Dynamite's solicitation for the book. "Can Thor, the God of Thunder, and Odin, the All-Father, aid the warrior woman and prevent their fellow god from destroying the very world?"
The publisher is offering retailers a limited-edition variant cover signed by writer Lieberman for every ten issues that they order.
Red Sonja was adapted for comic books by Roy Thomas and Barry Windsor-Smith, who drew inspiration from Robert E. Howard's original creation Red Sonya of Rogatino. She first appeared in Marvel Comics's Conan The Barbarian #23 in 1973.
Red Sonja: Wrath Of The Gods #1 arrives in stores in February 2010.
