Series writer, Jeff Parker, promised details will be revealed about the nature of the Cosmic Hulk robot, which first appeared in Marvel's 1977 Eternals series, as well as the mysterious Red Hulk.
He told Marvel.com: "If you read Fall of the Hulks: Alpha, you saw [Cosmic Hulk] in the Eternals Antarctic stronghold. That was one of the things the Intelligentsia lifted in their caper down there. Now the key is they have to activate it again."
Parker also told fans that the robot Hulk will not be a pushover for the Green Goliath.
"As you'll see in Fall of the Hulks: Red Hulk #1 we reveal the nature of this synthetic being and it becomes apparent that this is easier said than done," he said.
"If you liked some of the reveals of Marvel history we did in Alpha, you'll enjoy the backstory that goes with Cosmic Hulk."
Fall of the Hulks: Red Hulk #1, by Parker and artist Carlos Rodrigues, is out on January 27.
